IDM has been engaged for over twenty years in the field of electronic ignition of internal combustion engines. The variety of the applications studied by IDM has led to the company gaining considerable experience in completely different sectors: from motorcycles to small pleausers aircraft, from motors for gardening to large stationary motor used on building sites or in agriculture. This experience has always been accompanied by a continual check of results, with the cooperation of customers. In line with its policy of diversification, over the last few years IDM has enlarged the production to include magneto flywheels with or without power generation, voltage regulators, liquid level probes and solar cells. Thanks to the company's firm belief for the manufature of MCM (multi-chip module) systems. By applyng this technology to the electronic circuits of its products, IDM is able to use semiconductor components in their chip version, resulting in a smaller and at the ame time more reliable end product.
